First let me list out the things you would need for this tweak:

1) FExplorer
2) Easy GDR Creater ( To Make your Own Fonts ) [ See Link Below ]
3) FontRemover ( To Uninstall the Fonts, and get back to Default ) [ See Link Below ]
4) Brains laugh.gif

STEP 1 :
Make shure you download the latest stable build of FExplorer. Its NO virus and millions of Symbian users use this piece of software. It is essential if you need to take a peek or do a few changes ( cut/paste/copy ) between folders that you cant normally see by default.

STEP 2 :
Send the file FontRemover.sis to your phone ( via bluetooth, Infrared or Cable ). Install the file. After installation open the program, It should ask if you want to delete the Font or not, hit YES. It should then ask you to reboot, DO NOT reboot.

STEP 3 :
Install Easy GDR Creater on your PC. Start the program. I dont know what language this is but just assuming its Thai. Dont worry. After you have the program open, you need to select the font location, just click on the ????? (5 Question Marks) beside the text box that says "TTF Font" , select the font and hit ok. INCASE this dosent work on some PCs then you have to manually type in the font location.
eg: C:\Documents and Settings\Dhanesh\Desktop\times.TTF ( Times New Roman )
C:\Documents and Settings\Dhanesh\Desktop\arailbi.TTF ( Arial Bold Italic )
NOTE: you can find the ACTUAL name of the font by dragging and dropping it on your desktop. Remember to drop the font back in the fonts folder !!

After you are done selecting the font, hit the next button ?????? ( 6 question marks ) and you will be able to see a preview of the font you just selected smile.gif

You can change the Size / Unicode-ASCII / Symbol-Unicode options to suit your needs. The OTHER tabs on the top are for other window options on the phone. For instance the Text messaging font, the Menu font, the options font etc. There isnt a full help provided on this, but if you set your mind and hang in and play around a bit with this program, I bet you would know how it works. When you make changes in each and every tab in Easy GDR Creater, the programs compiles the changes and saves it in 1 GDR file.

After you are ready, hit Compile to GDR and save the .GDR file.

STEP 4 :
Now send this .GDR font file that you created to your phone. Open FExplorer and go to C:\system and create a folder named as "fonts" so your path should look this way:
C:\system\fonts
Now go back to the Mailbox ( in FExplorer ) and find your .GDR font. Cut and Paste it in C:\system\fonts , so your path would look like this C:\system\fonts\times.GDR

STEP 5 :
Exit FExplorer and NOW Reboot your phone. ( remember: no reboot after you remove the font with fontremover :: Step 2 )

You have successfully changed the font on your S60 phone

simple keygen, of a program called W3Filer 32 V1.1.3.
W3Filer is a pretty good web downloader...

I guess some of you might know the program.
I`ll assume you know:
A.How to use debugger (in this case, SoftIce).
B.How to crack, generally (finding protection routines,patching them,etc...).
C.How to use Disassembler (This knowledge can help).
D.Assembly.
E.How to code in Turbo Pascal (tm).[If u don't know then don't read furthur, u may email
me at panks@live.com for more detailed method]

Tools you`ll need:

A. SoftIce 3.00/01 or newer.
B. WD32Asm. (Not a must).
C. The program W3Filer V1.13 (if not provided in this package), can be found in
www.windows95.com I believe.
D. Turbo Pascal (ANY version).

Well, enough blah blah, let's go cracking...
Run W3Filer 32.
A nag screen pops, and , demands registration (Hmm, this sux ;-)) Now,
We notice this program has some kind of serial number (Mine is 873977046),
Let's keep the serial in mind, I bet we`ll meet it again while we're on
the debugger.
Well, now, let's put your name and a dummy reg code...
set a BP on GetDlgItemTextA, and, press OK.
We pop inside GetDlgItemTextA, Lets find the registration routine...

The ZIP of Death :-

This is a exploit of the compression algorithms to make a small zip that will extract into extream amounts their are more ways and better ones than this one but i will only show how to make a simple 1k = 1m ratio.

1) Make a.txt file
2) Open and type the null character (alt + 255)
3) Press ctrl + a then ctrl + v a couple times to make some null bytes
4) If u have a hexeditor make the hex 00 for about 50 kilobytes.
5) Now make several copies of a.txt and name accordinly
6) Open cmd.exe
7) Type copy /b *.txt b.txt
8) Now every copy is made into a super copy and repeat
9) Once you have a nice empty big text file like 1gb. Put it in a zip archive.
Because of the simple construction of the file, 1gb of null bytes.....!

The zip is only 1 mb in size and can really annoy freinds.
For added fun hex edit the zip and you will see a bunch of hex 5555
Just add some more and the file will expand amazingly
Make sure to not open this after
You can always create your zip of death from the command line in linux
dd if=/dev/zero bs=1000 count=1000000 | gzip > test.gz

There are numerous things that you can do with Resource Hacker, but in this tutorial we'll be learning how to hack the file that contains most of the Windows default icons, the shell32.dll file.

Before you go and start hacking the file, it is EXTREMELY important that you make a backup of the file. Go to your Windows/System32/ directory and you see the file there. Make a copy of it (Right-click, "Copy") and then store it somewhere else, wherever you like.

"Hacking" that shell32

Now, start Resource Hacker, and open the shell32.dll file by selecting "File", then "Open" (or Ctrl + O).

Now, select "Action", and then "Replace Icon". A screen displaying the icon groups and a preview of the icon that accompanies the respective groups will appear.

For instance, you can see that the 'Run' icon group is resource 25, while the 'Help' resource is 24. If you need more help on identifying the various icons, here's a visual aid (right-click on link and Save Target As). Find the icon you want to replace on the right side of the window. Click on the "Open File With New icon ..." tab. Browse through your directories to look for the replacement icon and click "Open". You should see your new icon on the left side with the old icon on the right side. Select "Replace".

Once you're done with replacing the old icons with new ones, select "File" and then "Save As ...". Choose where you want to save this new customized shell32 file, for example on your desktop.

Replacing that hacked shell32

Once you're done with replacing the icons in the shell32.dll file, you would need to replace this new file with the old one. Two ways you could do that.

First, the easy way: use the program Replacer.

Second, the manual way:
(1) Boot into Safe Mode (press F8 while booting).
(2) Go to Windows\system32 folder and rename shell32.dll file to shell32.bak
(3) Copy the hacked shell32.dll to this folder.
(4) If you have a Windows\ServicePackFiles folder :
- Go to Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 folder and rename shell32.dll to shell32.bak.
- Copy the hacked shell32.dll to this folder.
(5) If you do not have a Windows\ServicePackFiles folder :
- Go to Windows\system32\dllcache folder and rename shell32.dll to shell32.bak.
- Copy the hacked shell32.dll to this folder.
(6) Reboot.

(Note: The folder Windows\system32\dllcache is a hidden folder. You need to go to Tools --> Folder Options --> View and make sure that the option "Show Hidden Files and Folders" is checked, while the "Hide protected operating system files folder" is unchecked. Only then will you see your dllcache folder. Alternatively you can simply type in C:\Windows\system32\dllcache in the Address bar of Explorer.)

Now, no matter which of the above methods you use, if the icons do not change after you've reboot, you need to rebuild the icon cache using Microsoft's TweakUI (it's free and extremely useful).

First of all hi to all "cynides"

So many members hv asked me a lot of questions about Resource Hacker, like:

=> How to replace existing Resources ( Bitmaps, AVI, Icons, etc.) in a file?
=> How to add ur own resources?
=> How to change Menus/ Strings?

and so on...

I was working on this post for the last 1 weak.

So here I'll try to cover all such questions and many other tips-n-tricks.
So here we go.....

NOTE: I hv divided this tutorial in 2 parts:

PART1 : BASIC INFORMATION
PART2 : ADVANCED INFORMATION

Basic part contains Basic details, like viewing/replacing resources, etc.
Advanced part covers some advance information which is described for geeks. Like Adding ur own resources, using scripts with resource hacker, etc.

PART1 : BASIC INFORMATION

What is Resource Hacker:

Resource Hacker is a Free s/w to edit 32-bit windows files (DLL, EXE, CPL, and many other). U can add/delete/view/rename/modify existing resources in a file using this gr8 piece of s/w.

U don't need to install it, simply extract the files and run the s/w. It also doesnt make any entry in Registry!

Using Resource Hacker:

When u open a file in Resource Hacker, it shows various directories in left-side pane, like:

AVI
Cursor
Bitmap
Icon
Menu
Dialog
String Table
Accelerators
Version Info

and so on...
These directories vary from file to file!

Following is a small description of these directories:

AVI : This directory contains AVI files.
Cursor : This directory contains Cursor files.
Bitmap : This directory contains Bitmaps.
Icon : This directory contains Icons.
Menu : This directory contains various Menus.
Dialog : This directory contains various Dialog boxes.
String Table : This directory contains various Strings.
Accelerators : This directory contains Shortcut keys.
Version Info : This directory contains version information of the file.

Viewing Resources:

U can view any resource embedded in the file. Simply expand the directory and click on the name of the resource.
Actually each resource contains 3 parts:

Resource Type
Resource Name
Resource Language

Resource Type : Its indicate that the resource is an AVI/Bitmap/Menu
/Cursor/Icon/String/etc.
Resource Name : It describes the name of a resource, no 2 resource can hv the same name.
Resource Language : Its the language used in the file. For ENGLISH its 1033.

Changing the Resources:

=> For Icon/Cursor/Bitmap:

1) Select the resource ( e.g. Bitmap -> 131 -> 1033 ).
2) Click on Action -> Replace Icon/Cursor/Bitmap....
3) It'll open a new window, click on Open file with new
Icon/Cursor/Bitmap button.
4) Select the desired resource in the OPEN dialog box and
click on Open button and then Replace.

=> For other resources like AVI:

Its a little bit different.

1.) Click on Action -> Replace Other Resource....
2.) It'll open a new window, click on Open file with new resource button.
3.) Select the file and click on Open button.
4.) Now u hv to give the required information for this resource,
which I mentioned. Its a little bit different.

Resource Name
Resource Language

In type give the type of resource, e.g. if u r replacing AVI file then give the type as AVI.
In name give the exact name of the existing resource which u want to replace with this new one.
In language give 1033 for English.

5) And finally click on Replace button.

=> For Menus/Strings/Dialogs:

To change String/Menu/Dialog boxes, Select the desired resource, e.g., String Table -> 4 -> 1033, and make ur changes and then click on Compile Script button. It'll compile the script and will give ERROR if something goes wrong so that u can correct the problem!

Adding ur own Resources:

Adding new Bitmaps/Icons/Cursors/AVIs:

1) Click on Action -> Add a new Resource....
2) Click on Open file with new resource button.
3) Select the desired resource and click on Open button.
4) Give Resource Type/Name/Language.
(Remember: Resource Name should be different than the
existing resources.)
5) Click on Add Resource button.

Adding new Menu-items:

U can also add ur own Menu-items, like u can add extra menu (e.g., ur name) in Desktop Context Menu, etc.

1.) Goto desired menu, e.g., Menu -> 215 -> 1033, and add a
line anywhere inside POPUP "" or something like that in
following format:

MENUITEM "ur_desired_string", 12345, MFT_STRING, MFS_GRAYED | MFS_DEFAULT

Here:

"ur_desired_string" is the text which will be displayed on screen.
12345 is the the identifier, which must be different than other menuitems.
MFT_STRING describes that its a Menuitem with some text.
MFS_GRAYED disables our menuitem. U can also change it to MFS_ENABLED to enable it.
MFS_HILITE automatically select our menuitem. u can ignore it.
MFS_DEFAULT set our menuitem BOLD. u can also ignore it.

Actually u can only give MENUITEM "ur_desired_string", 12345 and Resource Hacker will automatically add other parts.

Adding Newly added Resources in Dialog Boxes:

Once u hv added ur own Icons/Bitmaps/AVIs, u may want to add them in dialog box so that they can be displayed when we open some dialog box (like RUN, Progress Dialog box, etc.).

1.) Goto the desired dialog box, in which u want to add ur own
resource, e.g., Dialog -> 1020 -> 1033.
2.) Right-click on the dialog box and select Insert Control option.
3.) It'll open a new window, where u'll see many controls,
like BITMAP, LABEL, ICON, BUTTON, SysAnimate32 (for AVIs), etc.
4.) Simply click on the desired control, like to use ur own added
Bitmap click on the BITMAP control or to use ur own added AVI click on SysAnimate32 control. U can also add Date/Time control by clicking on SysDateTimePick32 control.

1. The built-in context menu option in Windows Vista only appears if the SHIFT key is held down while right-clicking. This can become tedious, so if you want this menu option to be available without holding down SHIFT, you will need to use this extension. To avoid the duplication of menu options, this extension will be automatically disabled when you SHIFT-right-click in Windows Vista (this does not affect versions of Windows prior to Vista).
2. The "Open Command Window Here" feature in Windows Vista handles UNC paths using the pushd command, which creates a temporary mapped drive. There are various advantages (e.g., fewer quirks and errors) and disadvantages (e.g., inability to navigate up) to using pushd.

One thing people forget is that Orkut just like any other web based service store the password in encrypted format and just not possible to figure out the password even with the help of employees who are working there. How is it possible? Without going into technical details, let us explain things in a simple way.

When you register for a web based service you provide the password; one thing most trusted websites does is that it encrypt the password provided by you. The encryption is not reversible ie no one can decode the string back to the original format.

Suppose you have the password “MyPassword” this password is stored in the Orkut (or any other server) in encrypted format… something like – MyPassword => khkjhd877e8q78e8634but3874@63. There are several encryption techniques available like MD5, SHA etc. These encryption algorithms are not reversible ie you can convert MyPassword to khkjhd877e8q78e8634but3874@63 but khkjhd877e8q78e8634but3874@63 can’t be converted back to MyPassword.

When ever you enter the user name and password, the website convert your password into Md5 or sha or what ever it is and cross check. So not even an Google employee can retrieve your password. Well, it can be reset.

Orkut passwords could be compromised only if you are

* Using a computer with a Keylogger installed
* Using a computer affected with some Trojan or virus
* Using other websites where you have used the same password and which is not encrypted

So next time before thinking about hijacking the friends Orkut account, remember it’s not that easy.

5) Erase your cookies in whatever browser you are using.

6) Try the rapidshare download again.

Frequently you will be assigned a new IP address when this happens.

Sometime you will, sometimes you will not. If you are on a fixed IP address, this method will not work.

If this works for you, you may want to save the above commands into a batch file, and just run it when you need it.

C] Use a proxy with SwitchProxy and Firefox:

1) Download and install Firefox

2) Download and install SwitchProxy

3) Google for free proxies

4) When you hit your download limit, clean your cookies and change your proxy

D] You can use a bookmarklet to stop your wait times:

1) Open IE

2) Right Click On This Link

3) Select Add to Favorites

4) Select Yes to the warning that the bookmark may be unsafe.

5) Name it “RapidShare No Wait”

6) Click on the Links folder (if you want to display it in your IE toolbar)

7) Click OK

8) You may need to close and reopen IE to see it

9) Goto rapidshare and click the bookmarklet when you are forced to wait

Dear...s You can change your xp's boot screen and logon screen by many methods..
1) You want to know much knowledge about registry Editor of windows..(so you cann't balme me.)

2) You can change it by many softwares...but i am using AusLogics Visual Styler..
Also you want to crack it..otherwise it will harmfull to you..
This can change your both bootscreen and logon screen.

3) You can also edit the logon screen by logon studio(simply search for this on download.com)
